Welcome to GM Barcelona!
Welcome to GM Barcelona!

Welcome to the second edition of GM Barcelona! The official event for leading agencies, brands and institutions to keep up with the latest developments in AI, Blockchain and the Metaverse.

Join us during three days of learning, collaborating and networking with key creators and business innovators driving the exponential economy.

This year we will launch NextGen Creators, daily workshops for students and emerging artists to learn about NFTs, Tokenization and Generative Art, together with the display of ‘Continuum’ our own digital art exhibition around the life and work of Dalí. An international exhibition showing a selection of the best submissions, organised by Accelerated Art and co-curated by Claire Silver & Oliver Halsman.

The Program

GM Barcelona! 2023 edition will showcase ‘CONTINUUM’ a digital art exhibit run by Accelerate Art and co-curated by Claire Silver and Oliver Halsman from The Halsman Archive.

The digital art exhibit will showcase a selection of 20 artworks curated from hundreds of entries generated by an open call where digital artists will be given the challenge of creating a unique piece of art inspired by the life and work of Salvador Dalí.

In addition to the digital exhibit in honor of Salvador Dalí, GM Barcelona! will also display digital artworks from some of the leading artists around the world. These digital works will serve as visual representation of the topics to be covered during the NextGen Creators Workshops.

Continuum Dali

Claire is an anonymous AI collaborative artist whose work explores themes of innocence, trauma, the hero’s journey and how are view of them will change in an increasingly transhumanistic future.

Claire’s art can be found in the permanent collection of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, has been at Sotheby’s London and Christie’s New York and has been exhibited in galleries, museums and festivals all over the world.

Oliver is a multi-disciplinary artist, writer, curator, and co-director and archivist of his grandfather’s estate, photographer Philippe Halsman. He has been minting AI work on-chain since 2020, and exploring the intersection of art and technology for the past 20 years.

His work has been reviewed in the NY Times, and Parkett, and exhibited internationally. With one foot in the world of creativity and technology, and the other foot in the world of analog estate preservation, he enjoys finding solutions that honor the genius past by utilizing the exciting possibilities of the future.

Selecting the right mix of artworks is essential to capturing a wide range of perspectives and styles that pay true homage to Salvador Dalí.
